1. × Little Lens, Big World
Self portrait of my camera.
I almost named this blog Little Lens, Big World, but as I thought about it I realized that my world really isn’t very big. Although I am constantly on a quest to expand my mind, my connections and my borders, I still have a long way to go before I can say that I truly live in a “big world.”
But, that is not a bad thing. I enjoy the world that I am in, my family, friends, church and most recently social media acquaintances met online with whom many new friendships are quickly forming. (You may notice that I didn’t include “work” in the above list because, for my husband and I, “work” and “church” are synonymous, since we are both on full-time staff at our church.)
I dream of traveling to far-off places and I know that one day I will. Some goals take longer to accomplish than others. For now, I will continue to work on my shorter term goals.
